Women's tennis wraps up fall schedule

Yellow Jackets travel to Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. (Oct. 12) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team traveled to Penn State Altoona for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets fell 8-1 to the host Lions.
 
Seniors Marina Hastings (Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg) and Amy Liu (Beaver, Pa. / Beaver) teamed up to score Waynesburg's (1-9) victory at second doubles. The veteran duo came out on top in a tightly contested 8-6 battle.
 
With the fall portion of the schedule wrapped up, Waynesburg is off until picking the rackets back up for the spring portion of the 2022-23 campaign.
