BETHANY, W.Va. (Oct. 27) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team traveled to Bethany for its final road match of 2022. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Bison.
Bethany (14-11, 6-3) took the match by the set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-14.
Waynesburg (3-20, 1-8) was led offensively by freshman
Emily Stutzman (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg), who logged a team-high seven kills. Senior
Alexys Marsh (Panama, N.Y. / Panama Central) and junior
Trysten Smith (Senecaville, Ohio / Shenandoah) tied for the team lead with eight digs each, while Smith added a squad-best eight assists.
The Jackets wrap up their schedule on Saturday when they host Grove City for senior day. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
