WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 4) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team welcomed rival Washington & Jefferson to John F. Wiley Stadium on Tuesday night. The two squads played to a 0-0 stalemate.
Tuesday's contest marked the third-straight meeting between Waynesburg and W&J in which neither side was able to score in regulation time.

Kennedy Schuck (Marietta, Ohio / Marietta) continued her recent outstanding play in goal with arguably the best showing of her collegiate career. Schuck stopped all 12 of Washington & Jefferson's (3-2-5, 2-1-2) shots on goals, including several that caused her to make some athletic saves to preserve the shutout.
Over her last three starts, Schuck has made 19 saves during 225 shutout minutes.
The veteran goalminder put up her latest clean sheet, despite Waynesburg (3-4-4, 1-1-3) being outshot 24-3 overall and 12-1 in attempts on goal.
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 8, when it hosts Allegheny for another PAC showdown. Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
