WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Dec. 22) – The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference recently released its annual All-ECAC football teams. A pair of Yellow Jacket standouts earned second-team honors for their efforts during the 2022 campaign.
 
Senior running back Justin Flack (Derry, Pa. / Derry) picked up the accolade after ending 2022 ranked third in the Presidents' Athletic Conference in total rushing yards (811) and rushing yards per game (90.1). The veteran standout led the conference in rushing touchdowns with 11, total touchdowns scored (12) and points scored per game (8.0).
 
He was also named first-team All-PAC.
 
Senior defensive lineman Joel Zellem (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Riverside) added to his postseason awards haul, which included honorable mention All-PAC applause, after recording 38 total tackles, 21 of which were solo stops, a team-high 7.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, four pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
 
The veteran standout was even better on special teams, where he blocked five total kicks, which ranked him third in all divisions of the NCAA. His excellence in denying opposing kickers earned him a spot on the D3football.com all-region teams.
