Saint Vincent (4-1) rolled out to a 6-0 lead over the first 10 minutes of play. Meikeljohn made it back-to-back scores 6:28 into the quarter number two.

Saint Vincent tallied the final three goals of the quarter to take a 9-2 advantage into halftime. That lead grew to 10-2 early in the third, but Meiklejohn completed a hat trick just under four minutes into the second half. Another Bearcat goal put the home team up 11-3, before sophomore Eve O'Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa. / Greater Latrobe) posted her first goal of the day. Meikeljohn logged goal number four and cut Saint Vincent's advantage down to 11-5 with 5:49 showing on the third quarter clock.

The Bearcats posted the final six goals of the day to close out the win.
