WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 29) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on a frigid Tuesday night at John F. Wiley Stadium. The Yellow Jackets squared off with Chatham and fell 18-1.
The Cougars (4-2, 1-0) led 6-0 after one quarter and grew its advantage to 7-0 before junior
Eve O'Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa. / Greater Latrobe) scored Waynesburg's (0-4, 0-1) lone goal of the night with 12:32 remaining in the second quarter. Chatham grew its advantage to 14-1 at the halftime break.

Marina Hastings (Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg) tied for the team lead with four ground balls.
Freshman
Anna Bradley (Bridgeville, Pa. / South Fayette) started and played all 60 minutes in goal. She tallied 10 saves on the night.
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday, April 2, when it travels to Thiel for another PAC contest. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
