WASHINGTON, Pa. (April 23) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team headed north to Washington & Jefferson on Saturday to face the Presidents. W&J took the contest by a 19-1 final.
 
The home team (8-4, 6-0) built a 12-0 halftime lead, before Waynesburg (0-11, 0-7) scored to open the third quarter. Junior Tori Meiklejohn (Boonsboro, Md. / Boonsboro) did the honors with an unassisted tally. The Presidents closed out the game with the final seven goals.
 
Freshman goalie Anna Bradley (Bridgeville, Pa. / South Fayette) totaled six saves over 60 minutes in net.
 
Waynesburg wraps up the 2022 season on Saturday, April 30, with a road trip to Westminster. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
