PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 13) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Pittsburgh for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against La Roche. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 3-0 match to the host Redhawks.
 
Waynesburg (1-6) dropped the match by the set scores of 25-13, 25-23 and 25-17.
 
The visitors were led by senior Alexys Marsh (Panama, N.Y. / Panama Central), who tallied a match-high 17 digs. Sophomore Emma Hyatt (Carmichaels, Pa. / Carmichaels) helped out defensively with a pair of blocks.
 
Waynesburg returns to the court on Thursday, Sept. 15, with a home match against Pitt Greensburg. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
