PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 20) - The Waynesburg University volleyball team played on the road against the Chatham Cougars Tuesday night. The Yellow Jackets lost in straight sets in Pittsburgh.

The Yellow Jackets (2-9) lost by final set scores of 25-13, 25-11, and 25-16. Senior
Kayla Stohon (Summerhill, Pa. / Forest Hills) and freshman
Paige Mortimore (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Brentwood) both contributed a team-high three kills. Senior
Alexys Marsh (Panama, N.Y. / Panama Central) added two kills and two blocks.

Trysten Smith (Senecaville, Ohio / Senecaville) was close to recording a double-double with a team-leading 10 assists and nine digs. Sophomore libero
Jordan Stein (Manor, Pa. / Norwin) registered nine digs, as well.

Waynesburg returns to the court Thursday night at Saint Vincent College in a non-conference PAC matchup. The match from Latrobe, Pennsylvania, will begin at 7 p.m.
