WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 21) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Wednesday night when it welcomed Franciscan to John F. Wiley Stadium. After 90 minutes, it was the Barons who left the pitch with a 2-0 win.
Franciscan (5-3-0, 1-0-0) tallied the eventual game winner midway through the 36
th minute and added an insurance goal 25 minutes later in the 61

After playing four-straight games at home, Waynesburg faces three-straight on the road, all against PAC competition. The first stop will be a Saturday showdown in Pittsburgh with Chatham. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
