WASHINGTON, Pa. (April 21) – The Waynesburg University women's lacrosse team traveled to Washington & Jefferson on Friday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell 21-1 to the Presidents.
W&J (11-3, 7-0) opened the scoring with a goal 2:38 into the first quarter. Senior
Eve O'Sullivan (Latrobe, Pa. / Latrobe) tied the score 30 seconds later, but the Presidents' responded with the final 20 points of the contest, including 11 more in the opening 15 minutes. The host squad led 12-1 heading to the second quarter before closing out the win.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Anna Bradley (Bridgeville, Pa. / South Fayette) started and played all 60 minutes in net for Waynesburg. She made three saves in her most recent showing between the pipes.
Waynesburg plays its penultimate game of 2023 on Wednesday, April 26, when it heads to Thiel for a 6 p.m. match.
