Waynesburg falls to 0-2 on the season while Mount Aloysius moves to 3-5.
Thomas Torcaso (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Chartiers Valley) scored the Jackets' lone win with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at sixth singles.
Tyler Gordon (Strongsville, Ohio / OHDELA) played into a super tiebreaker as he fell 6-7 (11-8), 6-2, 10-4 after winning the first set in a lengthy tiebreaker.
Ethan Clawson (Washington, Pa. / Trinity) won four games in a 6-4, 6-0 defeat at first singles.
Waynesburg won three games in doubles action with a 6-3 setback by
Brennan Yohe (Charleroi, Pa. / Charleroi) and Torcaso at No. 3 doubles.
