ON WAYNESBURG
Waynesburg looks to clinch its winningest season and since 2014 with a victory in the Jackets' regular season finale at Geneva. Waynesburg defeated Thiel 37-10 on Senior Day as the Yellow Jacket defense forced four takeaways while the offense scored five touchdowns. Wide receiver
Tyler Richmond had four receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns, all in the first half.
Zayne Cawley,
Hunter Cameron and
Brian Scott-Hill each rushed for a score as the Jackets led 37-3 late in the fourth before the Tomcats scored their only touchdown of the day in the game's final minutes.
ON GENEVA
The Golden Tornadoes can secure their winningest season since 2013 with a victory on Saturday. The Golden Tornadoes were defeated 56-7 by Westminster last week. Geneva turned in one of its top passing efforts since shifting to a triple-option attack as quarterback Caleb Romano passed for 200 yards in a first half alone. Westminster found success on the ground, rushing for a season-high 282 yards. Geneva entered last week's matchup after posting wins against Allegheny and Bethany on either of its bye week on Oct. 26.
THE SERIES (WAYNESBURG LEADS 47-36-4)
The last two meetings between the Jackets and Geneva have resulted in over 65 points combined. The Jackets hold a 9-8 record against the Golden Tornadoes since Geneva joined the PAC and NCAA Division III in 2007.
Last fall, Geneva outscored the Jackets 29-3 in the fourth quarter to win 43-29 and spoil Senior Day at John F. Wiley Stadium.

Dakota Romantino for an 83-yard score as the Jackets built a 26-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Golden Tornadoes had four touchdowns in the fourth quarter, three on drives that began in Waynesburg territory. Â The Jacket offense set season-highs for passing yards (332), yards per pass (10.1) and total offense (448). Waynesburg finished a season-worst 2-of-12 on third down and did not have a third down conversion in the second half.
THE .500 BOWL
The winner of Saturday's game will finish sixth in the PAC standings with a 5-5 record. Waynesburg was picked to finish ninth in the PAC Preseason Poll while Geneva was tabbed seventh. Geneva last won five games in 2013 while Waynesburg's last season of .500 or better ball was in an 8-3 2014 campaign. The two teams share the same result against all nine other members of the PAC this season.
TURN AROUND LED BY TURNOVERS
Turnovers has been a large part of the season to help the Jackets with the team currently posting a +6 in the turnover margin which ranks third in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Waynesburg has totaled nine turnovers this season while the defense has recovered six fumbles and picked off nine passes through nine games of the season. The Jackets won the turnover battle six times this fall, including in all four of their wins.
