MCKEESPORT, Pa. (March 23) – The Waynesburg University men's golf team opened its spring schedule with a dual match against Carlow at the Youghiogheny Country Club on Saturday. The Jackets were edged by the Celtics by four strokes 364-360.

Matthew Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin) tied for the lowest score of the day as he carded a 78. Justin Clevenger posted the third-lowest score of the round at 90.

Nathan Barnhart (Washington, Pa. / Trinity) posted a 96, Gage Fuller (Elrama, Pa. / Ringgold) followed with 100 to complete the Jacket's scoring four.
