WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 15) –
Ethan Lown (Lebanon, Pa. / Elizabethtown) took a win at No. 1 singles but men's tennis dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to Saint Vincent 8-1 in the Jackets' home finale at the Bechtle Family Tennis Complex on Monday afternoon.
Waynesburg falls to 1-10 on the season and 0-6 in PAC play. Saint Vincent rises to 13-4 on the year and 4-1 in league play.
Lown battled to a 6-4, 6-1 win at top singles for the Jackets' lone point of the day.
Lown and
Adam Huckestein (Saxonburg, Pa. / Knoch) played a competitive first doubles matchup but fell in a tiebreaker. The Bearcats took an 8-7 (7-1) win.
Keegan Raabe (Tyrone, Pa. / Tyrone) won three games in a 6-2, 6-1 defeat at No. 3 singles. Huckestein,

Thomas Torcaso each won two games in singles defeats.
The Jackets travel to Grove City on Wednesday.
