TRAFFORD, Pa. (Oct. 20) – Congratulations to senior women's soccer player Reagan Mittendorf (Bluffton, Ohio / Bluffton), who was honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as one of its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Scholar-Athletes of the Month for September.

Mittendorf helped the Yellow Jackets' women's soccer program to an impressive 7-1-1 start to the season, recording six goals and four assists through the month of September. Her four game-winning goals led both the team and the PAC during that stretch.

As of today, Mittendorf has racked up nine goals, good for sixth in the PAC, eight assists, which leads the conference, and the fourth-most total points in the league (26). She continues to lead the PAC in game-winning goals with five.

Thanks in large part to Mittendorf's efforts, Waynesburg boasts a 12-1-2 record, which features the most wins in a season since the Jackets went 15-5-1 in 2011.

A Forensic Science major with a 3.97 cumulative GPA, Mittendorf has earned Dean's List honors and recognition on the PAC Academic Honor Roll. She is also a two-time member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team and is pursuing double minors in Biology and Chemistry.

On campus, Mittendorf is actively involved in numerous academic and service organizations. She is a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), participating in outreach events such as homeschool labs and presenting research at ACS conferences. She also serves as a member of the Society of Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP), volunteering annually at their spring conference. Additionally, she contributes to the Forensic Science Club, tutors students in the Eberly Library, and works as a general science tutor for the university.

This is Mittendorf's second-such accolade, having been named a PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month in October, 2024.
