TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 10) – Saturday's season-ending win over Saint Vincent featured a slew of highlight reel type plays for the Waynesburg football team. One of them was turned in by junior wide receiver
Ethan Floyd (Philippi, W.Va. / Philip Barbour), who was lauded by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as its Special Teams Player of the Week.
Trailing 7-0 in the first quarter, Waynesburg forced Saint Vincent into a punting situation. Floyd slashed through the protection and recorded the block. Not only did he turn back the kick, but he plucked the ball out of the air and drug a defender into the end zone for the Jackets' second special teams touchdown in as many games.
