BEREA, Ohio (September 12) - The Waynesburg University women's soccer team earned a 1-0 shutout win over Baldwin Wallace as the Yellow Jackets improved to 5-1 on the 2025 season.
Waynesburg scored the game's lone goal in the 27th minute with a high shot by
Reagan Mittendorf (Bluffton, Ohio / Bluffton) to take a 1-0 lead.
Baldwin Wallace applied plenty of pressure on the Waynesburg defense and goalkeeper
Lex Greenlief (Chester, W.Va. / Oak Glen), but Greenlief posted nine saves to earn the shutout win. Greenlief made a pair of stops in the game's final five minutes to preserve the 1-0 final score line.
Baldwin Wallace held a slim edge in shots (14-13), shots on goal (9-7) and corner kicks (5-4).
The win marked Waynesburg's first victory over Baldwin Wallace (0-4-2) in program history.
The Jackets return home to take on Carlow on Tuesday; kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
