MEADVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 24) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team traveled to Allegheny on Wednesday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against the Gators. The Yellow Jackets fell 7-0 to the defending conference champions.
 
The number one doubles pair of freshman Celeste Matsaudza (Boksburg, South Africa / St. Dominic's Catholic School) and senior Julia Corey (Eighty Four, Pa. / Ringgold) won a pair of games in a 6-2 setback. Junior Julia Luzar (Washington, Pa. / Trinity) did the same in her second set at second singles.
 
The Jackets (3-4, 0-3) will look to put the loss behind them quickly as they are scheduled to host Westminster (2-4, 1-4) tomorrow at the Bechtle Family Tennis Facility in PAC competition. Start time is set for 4 p.m.
