NEWVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 27) – The Waynesburg University men's cross country team hit the road on Saturday to compete in the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational. The Yellow Jackets placed 17^th in the 19-team 8K race with a score of 179.
 
Waynesburg was led by sophomore Ethan Wilson (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Redeemer Lutheran), who placed 90^th overall with a time of 30:59.8. Freshman Jack Hood (Washington, Pa. / Trinity) was the next Yellow Jacket to cross the finish line, doing so with the 119^th-place mark of 32:12.2. Freshman Logan Eberhardt (Massillon, Ohio / Tuslaw) posted the 135^th-place time of 33:55.5.
 
Sophomore Sterlin Mullins (Circleville, Ohio / Circleville) represented Waynesburg in the 4K race. He completed the course with the 96^th-place time of 17:14.1.
 
Waynesburg is off until Saturday, Oct. 18, when it travels to Gettysburg to compete in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational.
