NEW ORLEANS, La. (Feb. 2) – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recently released its All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams for the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country season. Both the Waynesburg University men and women were recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom.
 
The Yellow Jacket women led the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) with a 3.82 team GPA. That number tied Waynesburg for 15^th out of the 216 women's teams on the list. Senior Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) represented Waynesburg as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete. She was one of just six PAC women to earn the recognition, and one of 10 league runners, male or female, to accomplish the feat.
 
The Jacket men also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status with a 3.44 team GPA.
