WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Feb. 19) – The Waynesburg University baseball team had its first weekend of the 2026 season overhauled due to inclement weather. Instead of playing three games in Fairfax, Va., the Yellow Jackets will now play a home doubleheader on Saturday.
 
Waynesburg (2-0) will play two against Elmira on Saturday, with the first pitch scheduled for 12 p.m. The first game is scheduled for nine innings, while the late contest is scheduled for seven.
