TRAFFORD, Pa. (March 4) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its all-conference teams and annual award winners for women's basketball Wednesday night, which were compiled through voting by the league's 12 head coaches. Waynesburg was represented by senior guard
Kalista Friday (Woodfsfield, Ohio / Monroe Central), who earned second-team laurels.
Friday led Waynesburg and finished eighth in the PAC in scoring (14.4 points per game). She also placed third on the team and 10
th in the league in rebounding (5.5 rebounds per game). Friday was tops on the Jackets and fifth in the conference in assists per game (4.1) and total assists (102). Though her offensive prowess often overshadowed her defensive work, she paced the Orange and Black and finished second in the PAC with 2.6 steals per contest.
The veteran standout was a two-time PAC Player of the Week, eclipsed 1,000 collegiate points and grabbed her 500
th rebound.
Friday was an honorable mention All-PAC pick last year.
