GROVE CITY, Pa. (April 8) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to Grove City on Wednesday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell 7-0 to the Wolverines.
Waynesburg (4-7, 1-3) nearly picked up a win at third doubles, where junior
Zachary Johnson (Raceland, Ky. / St. Joseph Central Catholic) and sophomore
Noah Biser (Wake Forest, N.C. / Wake Forsest) came up just short of victory in a 7-5 match.
Wednesday marked the first of three matches in three days. The Yellow Jackets play their final non-PAC match of the spring tomorrow when they host Mt. Aloysius in a men's/women's doubleheader. Start time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
