TRAFFORD, Pa. (May 7) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced the 2026 All-PAC softball teams and yearly award winners Thursday evening. Waynesburg University saw three of its own named to the squads, including sophomore Meysa Heitmann (Morgantown, W.Va. / University), who earned first-team applause as an outfielder.
Heitmann, who was named honorable mention All-PAC following her freshman season, finished fifth in the conference in hits (55) and fourth in the triples. She led the Yellow Jackets in batting average (.404), hits, triples and stolen baes (9). She also finished in the team's top three in OPS, runs scored, slugging and walks. Heitmann was named PAC Hitter of the Week on March 30.
Junior shortstop Jamie Kelly (Front Royal, Va. / Skyline) was named second-team all-conference following her first season at Waynesburg. Kelly led the PAC in doubles (18), which also tied the school record for two baggers in a year. She finished eighth in the league in hits (53), fifth in RBIs (39), ninth in triples (3) and ninth in homeruns (4).
The Jackets' All-PAC trio was completed by senior catcher Braylee Corbin (Petersburg, W.Va. / Petersburg). Corbin finished the year ranked second in homeruns (8), eighth in slugging (.655), seventh in runs scored (35), seventh in hits (53) and seventh in RBIs (33).
