TRAFFORD, Pa. (Aug. 20) – The President's Athletic Conference (PAC) released its annual men's soccer preseason poll on Thursday, which was voted on the by the league's 13 head coaches. After going 7-6-5 overall (2-4-5 in PAC play) in 2025, Waynesburg was picked to finish sixth this fall.
Grove City was predicted to repeat as PAC champions after posting a 10-0-1 mark in league competition (15-3-2 overall) last year. The Wolverines picked up 11-of-13 first-place votes and 132 total points. Franciscan tallied 120 points and the final two first-place votes. Allegheny rounded out the top three with 101 points, edging out Geneva, which was fourth with 100 points.
The Yellow Jackets garnered 77 points.

The Jackets open the fall on Tuesday, Sept.1, with a home non-conference clash against Penn State Behrend. Start time from John F. Wiley Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
