GROVE CITY, Pa. (Sept. 2) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team traveled to PAC-leading Grove City on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets were tied with the Wolverines in the second, half, but a goal with less than two minutes remaining in the contest gave the host squad a 2-1 victory.
Grove City (6-1-3, 4-0) found the back of the net in the 12
th minutes thanks to a penalty kick and rode that 1-0 edge into halftime.

Sarpong Kwabiah (Odenton, Md. / Meade) received a ball from sophomore
John Engel (Dallas, Ga. / East Paulding) and he split the pipes for his team-leading fifth goal of the season. That total has Kwabiah tied for fifth in the PAC.
Both conference rivals battled down the stretch, but Grove City managed to slip one past senior goalkeeper
Zach Reed (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Seton La Salle) with 100 seconds left to play to bring about the final score.
Reed tallied six saves over 90 minutes with five of them coming in the second half of action.
Waynesburg University slips out of conference play tomorrow when it travels to Baldwin Wallace for a makeup game with the Yellow Jackets. Start time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
