Zack Morgan

After spending two years as a member of the Yellow Jacket men's soccer team, Zack Morgan has returned to Waynesburg as an assistant coach with both the men and women. The 2020 season marks his fourth on the bench with both squads.

Following two years at Hagerstown Community College where he was a 1st team all MDJUCO and 1st team all-region player, Morgan was a two-year starter at Waynesburg (2012, 2013). Over that time, he started 32-of-34 games at defense and was honored as a 2013 second-team All-PAC selection. The native of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, was also twice featured on the PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Morgan comes to Waynesburg following a year in which he served as Athletic Director at his alma mater, Grace Academy in Hagerstown, Maryland. Since 2015, he has served as head boys soccer coach at Grace Academy and spent time as a physical education instructor at the middle and high school levels.

He also has experience as an area representative and co-camp director for three years with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Morgan earned his associate’s degree in health, physical education and leisure studies from Hagerstown Community College and his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Sports Management from Waynesburg in 2014. He also currently holds a USSF E license.

He is married to his wife, Kimber, who is also a Waynesburg graduate ('14).
