Evans finished second at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational. He went 4-1 with three pins, two of which took 1:13 or less to accomplish. Evans' only loss of the day came by way of a 3-1 overtime decision in the finals against second-seeded and seventh-ranked Paul Triandafilou in the title tilt.
