Freshman baseball player Todd Burner (Parkersburg, W.Va. / Parkersburg South) hit .429 (six-for-14) over four starts this past week. He homered twice, tying for the PAC lead with four. He also doubled, tripled, drove in seven runs and scored four more to pace the Waynesburg offense. Burner walked twice to help him put together a .500 on-base percentage and a 1.071 slugging percentage. Burner also played error-free defense at shortstop, where he recorded four putouts and 15 assists.
