Lions get game-winning goal in 2OT to pick up 1-0 win

ERIE, Pa. (Sept. 20) – With the score knotted up a 0-0 through 100 minutes of play, the Lions finally ended the contest in the 106^th minute when Mike Seth managed to get a shot past Waynesburg keeper Ryan Hunsberger. The goal was unassisted.

Hunsberger recorded seven saves as Waynesburg was out-shot 28-4. The Lions also beat Waynesburg in the shots-on-goal department by a 10-1 margin. Nick Munnell had the one shot on Behrend goalie Dustin Walker, who got the one-save shutout.

The loss dropped the Jackets to 3-5-1 overall, while Behrend improved to 4-4.

Waynesburg will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 24, when they travel to the state of Ohio to face Muskingum.
