GROVE CITY, Pa. (Oct. 17) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team battled hard, but couldn't find the back of the net in a 1-0 loss at Grove City on Saturday.
Yellow Jacket senior keeper Luke Navickas stood tall in net, making 10 saves on the night, but GCC got the eventual game-winner from Andrew Quinn at the 30:39 mark of the opening half.
The Jacket men (1-14, 0-3) were out-shot 17-2 on the day by the Wolverines, who improved to 6-7-1 overall and 3-1 in PAC play.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Oct. 21, when they host Bethany in a conference showdown at John F. Wiley Stadium.
