Waynesburg drops 5-0 contest to Golden Tornadoes

BEAVER FALL, Pa. (Oct. 28) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss at the hands of Geneva on Wednesday night.

The Golden Tornadoes (14-4) took a 3-0 lead before the end of the first half, and then sealed the win with a pair of second-period tallies. Five different Geneva players scored on the night, while four of them added an assist each.

Geneva out-shot the visiting Jackets (3-15) 18-10 on the night.

Waynesburg wraps up their regular season on Saturday, Oct. 31, when they travel to Kentucky to face Thomas More.
