WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 6) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of Saint Vincent Tuesday night.
The visiting Bearcats (5-8-1) got huge nights from seniors Luis Rodriguez and Ben Fecik. Rodriguez recorded a hat trick and added an assist to a seven-point night, while Fecik totaled four assists and scored a goal for a six-point night.
Senior Luke Navickas got the start in net for Waynesburg was peppered all night by Saint Vincent. He recorded 12 saves on the night. Bearcat keeper Jacob Gilbertson started and made six saves during over 69:29 of play.
The Yellow Jackets (1-12) return to action on Saturday when they travel to Washington & Jefferson to face the Presidents.
