ALTOONA, Pa. (Sept. 15) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team played a tremendous first half against Penn State-Altoona on Tuesday. Unfortunately, they couldn't carry it over into the second 45 minutes of the game as they fell 3-0 to the Lions.
With the score knotted at 0-0 following the first period of play, Altoona scored the eventual game-winner five minutes into the second half. Waynesburg was out-shot by PSA 7-6. The loss dropped the Jackets to 0-7 on the year.
The Jackets return to action on Friday, Sept. 18, when they travel to Lancaster Bible College to face the Chargers.
