Women's soccer drops road contest to Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. (Sept. 22) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 loss at the hands of a powerful Penn State-Altoona team on Tuesday.

 

The loss evened Waynesburg's record to 3-3, while the Lions improved to 7-1. Sophomores Katrina Kelly and Jaime Williamson split the work in net, with Williamson stopping four-of-six shots during the second half.

 

The Yellow Jackets will try to get back on the winning track on Saturday, Sept. 26, when they travel to New Concord, Ohio, to face Muskingum.
