Men's soccer falls at home to Muskingum

Yellow Jackets drop 2-0 contest to Mukies in home-opener

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 23) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 contest to visiting Muskingum in Wednesday's home-opener.

 

The loss dropped the Yellow Jackets' record to 1-9 on the season, while the Muskies improved to 4-3. Muskingum scored one goal each period to pick up the victory.

 

Junior goalkeeper Tyler Hellwig got the start in net and played most of the game, while posting three saves.

 

Waynesburg will try to get on the winning track on Sept. 29, when they host Hood College for a 7 p.m. game.
