Waynesburg drops 5-0 road game to Titans

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 2) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team fell 5-0 at Westminster on Saturday in the first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game of the season for both teams.

The Titans (2-6-2, 1-0) jumped out to a 4-0 lead before halftime on their way to the win and outshot the Yellow Jackets (5-6-1, 0-1) by an 18-8 deficit. Freshman Dan Buzzard got the start in goal and made seven saves on the day.

Waynesburg will try to get back on the winning track when they host Thomas More on Oct. 7. The game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
