BETHANY, W.Va. (Oct. 23) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team fell by the final score of 3-0 at Bethany in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on Saturday.
Freshman goalkeeper Dan Buzzard got the start and made 15 saves in net for Waynesburg (5-11-1, 0-6). With the win, Bethany improved to 4-2 in PAC play and 8-8-1 overall. The Bison led 1-0 at halftime and put the game away with two second-half goals. The host team out-shot the Jackets 33 to 11.
Waynesburg will look to found the winning formula on Monday, when they host Geneva for their final home game of the season, which will also serve as senior day. The contest is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m.
