GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 29) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team ended the 2010 season with a  2-1 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss at Thiel on Friday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets conclude their year with a 5-13-1 overall record and a 0-7 mark in PAC play. The Tomcats finish 2010 with an 8-10-1 season mark. They went 3-4 in conference play.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, Waynesburg tied the contest up at 1-1 on a goal by freshman Stephen Zimmerman in the 67th minute of play. It was the fifth tally of Zimmerman's rookie season with the Jackets.

Unfortunately, Thiel retook the lead for good with just under 1:30 left in the contest and held on for victory. Waynesburg out-shot their hosts 18-11 and freshman goalkeeper Dan Buzzard made five saves on the day.
