Things to Watch For
*-The Waynesburg and Saint Vincent offenses come into Saturday as two of the most prolific scoring units in the conference. The Yellow Jackets are averaging the second-most points in the PAC with a 29.2 ppg average, while the Bearcats are hot on their opponent's heels with a third-place average of 28.0 ppg.
*-While there will be plenty of celebrating at Saturday's senior day ceremony, the day will also carry a very somber feel to it as Waynesburg remembers
Josh Malenke. Malenke, who would have been a senior this season, passed away in a tragic traffice accident on Feb. 22, 2011, while spending a semester studying film in Los Angeles. To honor the Uniontown native and former starting defensive end, the crowd at John F. Wiley Stadium will take part in a blackout and a moment of silence will be observed in Malenke's memory.
*-Waynesburg needs a win to stay in the hunt for a PAC title and the automatic berth in the NCAA Division III tournament that comes with it. The Yellow Jackets are currently in third place in the PAC behind Thomas More and Westminster.
*-Three of the top 10 running backs in the PAC will be featured in Saturday's game. Saint Vincent's Huey Ehredt comes in leading the conference in yards per game (79.9), while Waynesburg's
Bertrand Ngampa, a former conference leader in the category, is currently in second place with a 66.7 ypg average. Senior Bearcat running back Mike Kale's 55.1 ypg average ranks him sixth in the league. The three have combined to score 13 touchdowns on the year.
