DAVENPORT, Fla. (March 11) – The Waynesburg University baseball dropped a pair of closely-contested games to SUNY Oneonta on Friday at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
The Yellow Jackets (2-6) fell in the opener 3-2 and dropped a 6-4 decision in the second half of the doubleheader. Oneonta improved to 2-0 on the season with the wins.
As of now, Waynesburg's run at the RussMatt Central Florida has come to an end. However, the Jackets may schedule a game or a doubleheader for Saturday. Check back to www.waynesburgsports.com to see if the addition to the schedule is made.
