Things to Watch For
* While Bethany has won two of the previous three meetings between the two schools, Waynesburg was victorious in six-straight games from 2002 until 2007.

* Even though Bethany is averaging almost 120 yards more on offense per game, the Bison are only outscoring Waynesburg by a slim 30 to 28 margin. Conversely, the Yellow Jacket defense is giving up just 15 points per game, which is more than a touchdown better than the Bison's 21.7 ppg average. The Jackets also boast a major advantage in total defense (239 ypg to 323 ypg).

* Saturday's game could be decided in the air. Bethany's pass offense is a respectable third in the conference with a 236.7 ypg average. It will go up against Waynesburg's pass defense, which is tops in the PAC with a 100.3 ypg average.

* Don't expect the kicking game to come into play much, at least when it comes to scoring three points. Waynesburg and Bethany's field goal kickers have combined to go 0-3 on the season. The Bison are the top PAT kicking team in the conference, however, having converted on 12-of-13 extra point tries (92.3percent).

* Waynesburg's remade offensive line has been a pleasant surprise this season as four new starters have combined with first-team All-PAC center Nick Hanley to give up a PAC-low two sacks. However, the line will get a stern test from Bethany, which ranks second in the conference with 10 sacks.
