Waynesburg closes up 5-5 record with Friday split

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (March 9) - As it has done every other day during its run at the Rebel Spring Games, the Waynesburg University softball team split a pair of contests down in Florida on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets defeated Presentation (S.D.) 7-5, but fell in a closely contested 4-3 decision with Hiram. Waynesburg is now 5-5 on the season. The Jackets are off until March 15, when they travel to Maryland for a doubleheader at Frostburg State.
