BRADFORD, Pa. (Sept. 25) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team improved to 5-4 on the season, with all five wins coming by shutout, as the Yellow Jackets went on the road and defeated Pitt-Bradford 2-0 on Tuesday.
The Yellow Jackets (5-4) broke up a 0-0 tie in the 21st minute, when freshman
Victor Browne scored the first goal of the day after following his own shot for a score off a rebound. The Jackets clung to their slim lead throughout most of the day before finally tacking on an insurance goal in the 84th minute. Sophomore

Juan Angel and putting his team ahead 2-0.

Brandon Daughtry notched his fifth shutout of the season after making three saves in net. The Yellow Jackets out-shot Pitt-Bradford (1-8) 23-to-eight and attempted 13 corner kicks, to the Panthers' two.
The Jackets will look to continue their winning ways on Thursday, Sept. 27, when they travel to Pittsburgh to face La Roche. Start time is schedule 4 p.m.
