Men's soccer squares off with Hiram

Waynesburg drops 2-0 contest to Terriers

HIRAM, Ohio (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team played its second road game in the state of Ohio in as many games on Saturday, when it squared off with undefeated Hiram. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Terriers 2-0.
 
It was a rough day on the field for the Jackets (2-2), who were out-shot by a 20-to-four margin by the 4-0 Terriers. Sophomore goalkeeper Brandon Daughtry did everything he could to keep his team in the contest, including making seven saves. Hiram scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 41st minute and tacked on the insurance tally in the second half.
 
The Yellow Jackets face another tough test on Wednesday, Wed. Sept. 12, when they return to the Buckeye State to face Muskingum. Start time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
