WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 24) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team battled late into Tuesday night against Baldwin Wallace University at John F. Wiley Stadium. After no winner was decided following 90 minutes of play, the two teams that share the Yellow Jacket nickname played through two 10-minute overtime periods before settling for a 2-2 draw.
Waynesburg (4-1-1) got the scoring started in the 23

Colin Nelson scored his second goal of the season to put the Orange and Black Jackets ahead 1-0. The visiting Yellow Jackets (2-4-3) tied things up just over a minute into the second half, before Waynesburg regained a one-goal advantage thanks to junior
Nick Brommer's first score of the fall, which came just shy of the 47:00 mark. B-W closed the scoring during the 65
th minute of play.

Brandon Daughtry played a major role in the tie for the home team, by making a season-high 13 saves in net. Baldwin Wallace fired off 35 shots on the night, while the Jackets posted 21 attempts. B-W also held a major 11-to-two advantage in corner kicks.
The Orange and Black return to action on Saturday, Sept. 28, when another Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) opponent comes to Wiley Stadium, in the form of the University of Mount Union. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
