Men's soccer scores 7-1 road victory

Browne notches first collegiate hat trick against Cincinnati Christian

Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio (Sept. 30) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team scored seven goals for a second-straight game on its way to a 7-1 win at NAIA member Cincinnati Christian on Monday night.
 
Waynesburg (6-1-1) got two goals each from sophomore Victor Browne and junior Colin Nelson. It was Nelson's second-straight game in which he found the back of the net twice in a game. Senior Tim Fields, junior James Sneed and freshman Zack Benedict added a goal each in the victory.
 
 Junior Brandon Daughtry got the start in net and made three saves over 90 minutes of work.
 
After a successful run through the non-conference portion of its schedule, Waynesburg opens up Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Friday, Oct. 4, with a road trip to Grove City. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
