Yellow Jackets fall 5-0 to strong Purple Raider team

ALLIANCE, Ohio (Sept. 20) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team faced off with the University of Mount Union in a road game on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell by the final score of 5-0.

The Jackets (3-3-2) trailed just 1-0 at the half, but the Purple Raiders (6-2-0) exploded for four second-half goals to put the game away. The home team out-shot the Orange and Black by a 14-to-nine deficit.

Waynesburg will look to get back to its winning ways on Wednesday, Sept. 24, with a road trip to Baldwin Wallace University. Start time is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
