Box Score WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 2) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team won its first game under first-year head coach
Brad Heethuis by taking down Franciscan University on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets never trailed in front of the crowd at John F. Wiley Stadium and picked up a 5-0 victory over the Barons.
After a scoreless first half, Waynesburg (1-0-2) junior

Connor Walsh ended the scoring with eight minutes remaining in the contest.

Several key game stats reflected the 5-0 final score. Waynesburg out-shot the Barons (1-1-1) by a 20-to-seven margin, and held a 12-to-three edge in corner kicks.
The Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 6, when they travel to La Roche. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
